Energy Committee

 

The Energy Committee is devoted to surveying energy storage, exploration and the impact on the environment for countries along the Silk Road. On this foundation, the Committee aims to develop energy policies suitable for countries along the Silk Road and meet senior government officials to exchange ideas on energy policies for the implementation. In line with the principle of serving SRCIC members, the Committee assists energy resource sharing from the energy-rich countries for better utilization.

HE Dr. S.M. Hossein Adeli is an economist, diplomat and academic with extensive government and private sector experience in energy, economics and international relations. He is currently the Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

Mr.Pavol Antalic is the Director and Managing Director of EXIMA, an award-winning company that specializes in building materials, furniture, and sanitary ware. He is heavily involved in Slovakian commerce; he is the member of  the board of directors of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and chairman of  the Chamber’s Chinese Joint Business Council.

Mr.Sheikh Fazle Fahim is an entrepreneur with rich leadership experience in business development, financial management, real-estate, multiple product distribution, regional strategy, and community philanthropy. He is the founder of Obsidian, an enterprise group that specializes  in real estate, water pumps, trading, infrastructure projects, and FMCG.

 

Mr.Sheikh Fazle Fahim achieved Master’s Degree of Political Economy in 2002, and has held executive positions at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI), and Obsidian Bangladesh since then. In addition, Mr.Sheikh Fazle Fahim made a lot of speech at symposium  for public and private organizations in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, etc.

Lao Yuli is the director of Green Cycle Technology Research Institute, and the Deputy general manager of China United Northwest Institute for Engineering Design and Research Corporation which accomplished more than 80% of the design task of the country's industrial backbone enterprises and research institutes. He is preparing for the establishment of the first large state-owned design institute in China, the green recycling technology research institute with core technology and capital operation. He has been working in environmental protection and water BOT projects since 2010. He is also the director of Northwest Region of Shenzhen Yongqing Water-related affairs of Hunan Yongqing Group, and responsible for the investment operations in sectors of environmental protection, water affairs, and new energy.

She is engaged in the design work relating to environmental protection which involves the full series of planning, consulting, and construction drawing design. She has the project experience of water environment comprehensive treatment, solid waste comprehensive treatment, and green energy comprehensive utilization.
