SRCIC Delegation to 2017 Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum

At the invitation of the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, SRCIC Delegation headed by Mr. Lu will attend the Second Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum on 28-29 November.

 

Co-organized by the Georgian Ministries of Economy and Sustainable Development and Foreign Affairs, the Forum aims to serve as a biennial platform for high-level dialogues between governments and private sectors. SRCIC is the co-sponsor and partner of the Forum.

 

The Forum expects to host 1000 political leaders, diplomats, experts, representatives of international and multinational organizations and corporations to discuss factors concerning regional and global trade development and facilitation, e-commerce and digital potentials, transport infrastructure and energy business.

 

In addition to discussions on a wide array of issues during the two-day meeting, the Forum also offers companies opportunities to participate in business-to-business meetings on 29 November for networking and information sharing.

 

2017 Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum will continue the mission of 2015 Tbilisi Silk Road Forum where over 800 delegates from more than 50 countries, with official government delegations from 34 countries, participated.
